Minister Angelia Gower

Minister Angelia Gower is a teacher known for her desire to be herself and to exhibit the gifts and talents that God has given her. She is committed to providing God’s people with the True and Living Word of God. She believes and knows in her Heart that God’s people have not begun to taste what God has already provided for them, that they must empty out the old to be filled with the new.
Min. Gower graduated from Madison Sr High School in Madison IL and has an associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting, a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master in Business Administration (Health Care Administration).
Min. Gower has been in the healthcare industry all of her life. She currently works as a Senior Director of Revenue Cycle for Conifer Health Solutions(20 years)and also has her own businesses.
She founded Community Redevelopment LLC which rehabs and rent/sale housing. She is also a Certified Health Coach and the owner of Gower Health which assists people in gaining their health back with weigh loss being a component of healthy living. She also founded Women of Destiny Ministries which Encourages, Empowers and Enable women to become who God called them to be.
She accepted the call on her life and is ordained by God and is under the leadership of Pastors Earle and Melba Boyd at Rivers of Water Worship Center in Madison, IL.
Through all of the heartache and pain that has come in her life, she is very grateful to have had a wonderful marriage to the late Bernard F Gower Jr, she has 6 wonderful children and 11 grandchildren. She resides in Granite City, IL. She believes that as we go through a storm in our lives that we must understand that the Grace of God will sustain us because He is in us to do for us what we cannot do for ourselves. She also believes that you will continue to get the same results in life until you transform the way you think. Her special scripture quote is “As He is, so am I in this world” (1 John 4:17)
As a young girl, my my mother would say to me, “You are always dreaming, not listening to me. I grew up in the church. In church, I had many responsibilities throughout the years. Some were teaching, starting at the New Beginners class, choir, usher, praise & worship leader. The same church, Southern Tabernacle MBC is were I received my calling to hold the office as a preacher.

Other accomplishments such as Obtaining a graduate degree in Theology & Licensed Social Worker has been a blessing to my call. In the field of Social Work, I serve as a Chaplin & grief counselor. I have many opportunities to minister to others, even those who are at the point of death according to their doctors. I am so glad that I know God is a healer /miracle working God.

I am married 50 years to Pastor Earle Boyd. We are Pastors & Founder of Rivers of Water WC. We have a Radio Ministry KXEN1010 am each Sat. @ 5:30 pm. I am so glad that Jesus earned my salvation & gave it to me as a gift. I am getting to know Him intimately & depending on His “Grace” to fulfill His purpose in me.

MINISTER ROBIN WILKINS

MInister Robin Wilkins is predestined to be a child of God and a unique gift to His Church. God’s providence has guided her to answer the many divine callings He has placed on her life. She has been given a hunger for both education and teaching. He directed her to extensively study the undergraduate associate sciences of Banking, Accounting, Finance, and Developmental Psychology. As her education continued, God directed her to concentrate specifically in the Science of Theology and Biblical Studies as she hones her calling.
She is an associate minister at First Baptist of Webster Groves, under the tutelage of Dr. Wendell W. Bonner, Elder. Her zeal for education is humbly conveyed through the five-fold ministry. As an educator, she specializes in doctrinal curriculum development, writing and educational administrations. Her placement in the Kingdom affords her the opportunity to both teach and preach the unaltered Gospel of Jesus Christ.
God’s divine intervention has provided a lifelong career in the financial sector affording her 37 years of both sound and varied experiences in Banking. She is currently the Vice President of Loan Operations with Fortune Bank and has a special keen instinct for anything I.T.
Minister Wilkins loves the arts, gardening and cooking. She is adorned with an exceptional gift of sewing and shares this gift as a custom clothier with Epiphanie, LLC. , as well as, anything cupcakes and cookies with Dollbaby's Sugah Sweets.
She is grateful to be a Proverbs 31 wife to Deacon Donald Wilkins, mother to one 4 legged son Judah Wilkins, and desires to be found a faithful daughter of the most High God.
She is guided by Philippians 4:11-13 “…I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content. I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound.
Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

WOD is an acronym for Women of Destiny. The word ‘Movement’ is our action word, which defines what we do! The WOD Movement is a membership-based group of women that meet for all the ecstatic purposes.
Specifically, we provide a means, mode, and method to courageously be involved in the Journey of Life. Individually, we/you have always existed answering the call of God to serve His people. Collectively, we have been developing friendships, kinships and sisterhood in the kingdom for 11 years.
We exist to establish a community of love, by being the community we expect to see.
